Terms of service
Last updated
These terms cover ordering food from BiriyaniKing, booking a franchise trial meal, and using this website. By placing an order you accept them.
Draft wording, awaiting professional review. Don’t rely on it, and don’t publish this page — it is excluded from search engines and from the sitemap until the review is signed off.
1. Placing an order
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when the outlet confirms it, and only then is a contract formed. Before that we may decline an order — for example if the outlet is closed, an item has run out, the address falls outside its service area, or we cannot verify payment.
Prices and availability are those shown on the site when the order is confirmed. Menu prices are in Indian rupees and include GST at 5%, itemised on your bill.
An order that has not been paid for is cancelled automatically after 15 minutes so the kitchen is not holding stock for it.
Delivery times shown on the site are estimates that depend on distance, traffic and how busy the kitchen is. They are not guarantees.
2. Allergens and food information
Our kitchens handle nuts, dairy, wheat, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian ingredients in shared spaces, so we cannot promise any dish is free of traces of another. Veg and non-veg dishes are marked throughout the menu.
3. Your account
We may suspend an account that is used for fraud, abuse of our staff or delivery partners, repeated false refund claims, or anything unlawful.
4. Offers and coupon codes
An offer applies only while it is published and only to the items, outlets and channels it names. One coupon per order unless the offer says otherwise. We may withdraw an offer at any time, and we may reverse a discount obtained by misuse.
5. Franchise trial meals
A franchise trial meal is a paid tasting at a working outlet for people considering a franchise. It is not an offer of a franchise, and attending one does not entitle you to be granted one.
The fee is ₹299. Cancellation and refund terms are in our refund and cancellation policy.
6. Franchise enquiries
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell a franchise. Figures shown for fees, investment or returns are indicative and depend on the site, the format and local costs. Any franchise relationship is governed by the signed franchise agreement, which prevails over anything published here.
7. Our liability
We are responsible for supplying food of the quality and description ordered. Where an order is wrong, unsafe, or not delivered, your remedy is under our refund and cancellation policy.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when the order was confirmed. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
